The Lift Industry 19th Kart Challenge

A&A have been the main sponsors of the Lift Industry Kart Challenge for the last four years, the event is held in aid of the Lift Industry Charity which helps to support people who are injured within the course of their work. Our Managing Director Alan Warren is the Chairman of the charity and along with many others within the trade has helped to raise thousands of pounds by holding events of this kind.
Putting the serious issues to one side, an exhilarating and fun day is always had by all at this event with some fierce competition amongst the teams fighting for the ultimate prize of 1st place. This year we had a challenge all of our own with two A&A teams captained by brothers Peter & Stephen King competing against each other for our in-house trophy, after weeks of taunting each other and a tough race Peter won the challenge.
A charity raffle organised by our two teams raised £360 with the top prize being a LCD TV.
A big thank you to our boys, Peter, Stephen, Andy, Ian, Jason, Nick, Trevor, Jazz, Paul, Simon, Jamie, Steve, Paul & Dave for getting up at an unearthly hour on a Saturday morning and for all your efforts on the day. Also thank you to Laura for all her organising of the actual event.
